I was born in Monza in 1979. I began playing guitar when i was about 13 years old. My training began studying by myself continued taking my first lessons from various musicians in and around Lecce. Since 2001 till 2003 i studied rock music with the guitarist Salvatore Russo. Since 2003 i have been studying fingerstyle, attending acoustic guitar lessons by the great guitarist Paolo Giordano. During years, i played with various local bands, throughout all music genres. I attended a lot of workshops, as the ones with Brett Garsed, Andy Timmons, William Stravato, Antonio Forcione, Pietro Nobile, Massimo Varini, Stochelo Rosenberg, Andrea Braido, Preston Reed, and so on. In 2006 i attended Computer Music and HD Recording workshop by Roberto Giglio in Galatone (LE). During the same year i began studying jazz. I performed many times with guitarist Alessandro Contino. In 2007 I played with the prog rock band Shedim and recorded with them two self-produced promo CDs ("Shedim" and "Indietro...nel vento"). In 2010 some compositions of mine had been used in a science documentary and as a soundtrack inside Ecology Museum in Otranto (LE). Since 2007 till 2011 i have been guitarist and co-founder of the band Silvered. I recorded with them in studio ("Music For Your Sleepless Nights"; “Dying Light” e “Grave of Deception”) and live (“The Unplugged Night LIVE” ), i partecipated to radio and tv programs and to many sections of webzines, i performed hundreds of gigs. In 2008 with this band i opened to Andrea Braido, The Foreshadowing and Rezophonic. In 2011, i started the path on neofolk music, as the band's guitarist NID with whom i recorded a promo cd "Nature In Disguise" and in 2013, after several gigs in Italy, with this band we gave birth to our first full-length on the label "La Esencia" entitled "A Fair Masquerade". In the same year i begin to work on my first solo project HELFIR with which i perform alongside the band Antimatter in their Italian tour. I am currently involved in the recording of my first solo album and at the same time continue my live performances in various bands.
