Wintry is an Alex Twin (The 3 Cold Men & Individual Industry) side project. The project came about when Alex recorded some demo tracks in 1995 which sounded very different to Individual Industry..s style and so Wintry was born. Wintry mixes melancholy and ethereal sounds together with tribal percussion and electro beats, which creates an atmospheric crossover between Dark Wave & Ethereal Pop. For the vocals, Alex invited the London-based singer Lahannya who has previously worked with Greenhaus & Soman as well as a solo artist. So far, two tracks have been finished - My Angel & Naked. In 2007, the project get a new singer, "Anne Goldacker" ex- Obsc(y)re. The band is recording the debut album to release first week of January 2009 by Wave Records.
