After the dissolution of their previous metal projects, the bass player Giovanni Santolla and the drummer Andrea Larosa required the vocalist Christopher Volpi and the guitar players Francesco Galluccio and Andrea Mossa.
The band decided to revive a metal strongly influenced
from the Swedish melodic death metal matrix (Soilwork, In Flames,Meshuggah)
and the American melodic metal/hardcore (Killswitch Engage) especially for
the heaviness of the guitar riffs tuned down and the verses sung in growls, joined by chorus strongly melodic, very close to nu metal.
Their name is inspired by the thought of seeing ironically destroyed
everything that you prepare in the course of your life and takes
life from the theory of the "cosmic pessimism" of the Italian poet
Giacomo Leopardi, whom places his focus on the pleasure that
You can never get and the inevitable suffering that is intended
to last forever.
The band, formed in the late spring of 2010, start writing a first demo, after which
they recorded a 5-songs EP, titled Buried, published in June 2011, self-released by the band and recorded at Fusix Studio by the producer Andrea Fusini.
In April 2011 Francesco Scaravelli (who played previously with the band in an other project) replaced Francesco Galluccio on lead guitar
and in February 2012 drummer Marco Pochettino replaced Andrea Larosa.
