Everything started sometimes in the year 2010. Heiko and Siggi, still known from the good old metal times of the 80s and 90s and bands just as Abraxas or Stormwitch, met with Dirk, active musician at Coronatus, and played some lose sessions. During the first time, they covered songs from well known metal bands, but very soon the idea of a new band came up. On the search for an extraordinary voice, the three found Selin, an excellent skilled and talented musician, on a local musician platform, contacted him, invited him, did a first session, and We are Legend was born. This was early 2011.

The first songs developed throughout these months, while the four learned to know each others skills better, and end of 2011, the band was ready to enter the studio for the first EP, which was published early 2012, with the songs "Enemy within", "This holy dark", "God is dreaming", and "In pale moonlight". During this time, the song structure developed to a prog, power and melodic, with late romantic and virtuos piano melodies, which adds an incredible depth and atmosphere to the songs.
The reviews to the 4-track EP were incredible, and very soon, some record labels offered deals to the Five. Pushed by this successful feedback, the brotherhood went to the studio again, to record their frist long player album. Release is expected to be mid 2013.
