The Band TERVINGI was founded in 2011 by Ex-LYFTHRASYR Guitarist Johann Frey. The name of the band is by no coincidence related to the tribe of Visigoths from late antiquity, who are also known as Tervingi (in verbatim: "forest people"). "Gotensaga", the debut album of lead songwriter Johann and his bandmates, deals with this tribal concept. Framed by hook-laden Metal placed in between Death Metal and Heavy Metal TERVINGI tells the story of the Visigoth’s during the time of the migration. Memorable German Lyrics, interspersed with spoken vocals in the Gothic language are just the icing on the cake in the concept of the band.

"Gotensaga" was mixed in Studio E "Klangschmiede" by Markus Stock (The Vision Bleak), mastered in Finnvox Studio Helsinki (Nightwish, Sentenced, etc.) by Mika Jussila and will be available on Match 22nd 2013 in CD format with an 8-page Booklet, 24-page story book and metal box case, and mp3 download edition.
