Nightglow saw the light in 2003 as an Heavy Metal band devoted to classic Metal Music, inspired by the English trend of the 80’s and embellished with more modern, sofisticated sound.
In addition to their own pieces, Nightglow also offer covers of Iron Maiden, Metallica, Manowar, Megadeth, Gamma Ray, Black Sabbath and other big metal bands of the past.
In summer 2006 they started a project as a tribute to the most powerful Heavy Metal band of all time : MANOWAR!
In 2007 they have been recognized as the official Manowar tribute band by both Italian fans club (Manowar Italia and Army Of Immortals) , becoming the first in Italy and Europe.
In the same year was released the second demo CD : Metanderthal,the Metal Age ; containing four new songs and able to meet outstanding success with the public and in magazines and webzines.
Nightglow boast an average of 25-30 concerts a year, on the most famous stages of North Italy and Europe, and many collaborations with the best Italian metal bands and international artists such as Eric Martin, Fabio Lione, Kiko Loureiro and Rhino.
2010 : major changes in Nightglow. Three mainstays leave the band to pursue personal projects (Simone Rinaldini,Giovanni Stefani,Lucio Stefani).
The guitars take over two phenomenal artists : Andrea Moretti (already in the band for over a year) and Giulio Negrini, nationally known guitar-maker.
The new “five-line-up” sweeps away any doubt about the future of the band : they started to play far and wide with unanimous approval.
With this new energy and renewed passion, the five entered again the studio in July 2011 for their first full-length album.
