В 2004 году Pain Of Salvation порадовали всех своих поклонников двумя релизами – «12:5» и «Вe». Сейчас речь пойдёт именно о «12:5». Итак, альбом представляет собой концертный диск, вмещающий в себе акустические переработки всех известных и нескольких неизвестных композиций группы. Как тому и полагается, были переделаны, а в некоторых случаях даже улучшены аранжировки всех песен. Качество звучания альбома кристально чистое и восхитительно качественное. Особенно нужно отметить самый главный инструмент – акустическую гитару, именно она звучит на переднем плане, хотя на диске можно встретить и клавиши и партии барабанов, однако никакой дисторшин гитары здесь нет. Дэниэль Гильденлоу, как вокалист, отлично исполнил все свои партии, и ему также помогали остальные музыканты, сделав все припевы более мощными. На пластинке присутствует также несколько инструментальных композиций, очень виртуозно сыгранных. Некоторые номера посредством новой обработки, к сожалению, утратили особенную мелодику и некоторую эмоциональность, присущую им на студийных дисках, другие же треки зазвучали наоборот живее и ярче. Несмотря на то, что студийные диски группы исполнены с крайней мрачностью и депрессивностью, «12:5» показывает Pain Of Salvation совершенно с другой стороны. Песни звучат очень воздушно и светло. Должен сказать, что музыкантам удалось создать потрясающий диск, который ни в кои веки не сравниться с акустическими наработками хард роковых или хэви металических групп. Отдельно нужно упомянуть о хорошем и стильном буклете, в котором можно найти, как и разборчивые тексты песен, так и замечательные картины природы и фотографии самих музыкантов, увлечённо отдающихся своему делу. В заключении ещё раз скажу что «12:5» – это весьма достойное творение, однако рекомендовать его можно только любителям акустических опусов и истинным фэнам группы. |

Это акустический диск, записанный "живьем" в студии, где, судя по периодически возникающим возгласам и аплодисментам, присутствовал еще и десяток фанатов группы. Музыканты не просто сыграли свои песни в акустической версии, а во многом изменили аранжировки, и поэтому некоторые из произведений зазвучали совершенно по-новому. Довольно часто на первом плане оказывается фортепиано, что действительно придает музыке некоторую воздушность. Гильденлев демонстрирует все свое вокальное мастерство, как, впрочем, и остальные участники. Особенно они порезвились в конце, устроив отличный джэм. Атмосфера альбома очень теплая, даже, я бы сказал, домашняя. Создается полный эффект присутствия. Немало этому способствует и чистейший звук. Отличный диск. Для фанатов группы - абсолютный "must have". |

Помню слушал только что вышедший Opeth "Morningrise". Шел далекий ... год. Дела давней юности минули, но чувства вызванные порясающей "металлической акустикой" остались. Сам Opeth вырос в уважаемую банду, и не раз меня радовал. Но Pain of salvation изменили для меня многое.
В особенности "12:5". Альбом не шокировал, не удивил, и даже не поразил. Просто музыка наполнила пространство, та музыка, которую не стилизируешь, не пытаешься как-то определенно охарактеризовать. В этом альбоме играет множество красок жизни - вертится калейдоскоп чувств и ощущений, звуков и даже запахов. Удивительная звуковая мозаика альбома создают некую магическую притягательную атмосферу, необычную и естественную в одночасье.
Теплое фортепиано, дурманящая перкуссия, дразнящие гитары, просто обалденное многоголосье и по-настоящему домашнее звучение студийного концерта сделали для меня этот альбом незабываемым.
P.S. Следует особо отметить, что альбом никак нельзя назвать фоновым, звучание абсолютно "неровное", порой "нервное" и даже в какой-то степени "истеричное". Альбом очень эмоционален. |
