Grains of sand falling
Into the hourglass
Poison dripping
Into the heart
Atoms like words
Scattered in a thousand directions
Among endless spaces and collisions
Any single purpose?
Any single meaning?
The dialogue between two beings
The eternal mankind concerto
Does exist?
Has he ever existed, a listener?
Too little the time or too huge the gap
Then deaf is the other?
Silence deafens more than a perpetual
Background noise
Is for that our speaking, our praying,
The whispering and sighing?
Along with our universe that runs into the darkness the same way our voices are whispers to the void
2. Desire
We're here passing by
Everything finishes in a moment
What are fame, power, glory worth of?
We breath the same air and share the same earth
Refusal is the most powerful weapon
Refusal against everything that's not our own
Human mind limited bi vices and needs
Nothing finishes with us
Soon will have its revenge
3. The Groom
4. War Children
Everyday your son fights an enemy with his weapon
Saves or destroys a thousand worlds
Still with a smile on his face
Her son never smiles
Your son's fears and anguishes leave in your presence
Her sons are alone
Your son can turn the horror off with one finger
Her sons are the horror
Warchildren you are
No future, no past
Their caring mother never lets them down
The best games, the best sounds,
The strongest sensations are all the can get
They don't need anything nor they ask
Born with a gun in their hands
Fed with blood
Used to mayhem and murder
Their mother loves them
The others just ignore 'em
5. Failure
Why you look at me?
Hear me look at me
Do you think your gaze can bring me light
And your hearing can give me explanations
Hear me look at me
You don't want to face the truth
You can't look beyond
Sometimes all that you see is yourself
With your fears
You reflect(?) them on me
Suffering fills mi mind
But you don't notice it
You don't hear my words
You think you can feel my pain?
If only you could try to stay silent
You would feel what my body says
Without a word
I retreat in silence
I drop the pen and the glass
I'm deaf and blind , forgive me.
6. Mass Killer
I open my eyes
Today is the final day
The sounds of my shots will fill the silence
The loser and his vanquish
You're having your special place in my nightmare now
We, the gods are having fun now.
Do you know what I hate? People, I hate
Hate is the greatest thing
Less then one hundred,
You alone like me will be spared
Nine already in my mind
Do you remember teacher
The sense of power, accomplishment?
Do you want to talk about that now, teacher?
Why? Why do you ask me that now?
Have you ever cared for how I felt, mom?
Look at me now
God is coming, mom look at me
Everybody look at me, I'm your creation
Where's your indifference now...?
This is mine
7. Winter Came
Winter came
My whole world changed
Snow falls
Looking out of my windows
All the colours seem fainted
Staring into my soul
Only bitterness dwells
Frozen winds trample
Every remaining emotion
Ice slips into my clefts
Sapping the already brittle
Frame
Skeleton like trees that
Give no shelter
All the paths covered
For the wanderers
Who are lost
Precious thoughts frozen
Like memories stuck
Into moments lost time
Ago
Hibernating like animals
My steps fall on thin ice
Waiting for the freezing waters
To submerge me
8. Scarred By Your Hands
Often you saw me
In your nightmares
Or during your apathy days in front of the tube
Sometimes you felt scorn and shame, sometimes you just turned off
I was far away, too far or too pitiful to stand
But in the end I was like you
With my home and my love
Now I crawl in a tents camp or I stagger in sweat during the usual P.S.D.
Maybe a badge on my chest
Surely a web of scars that entangles my soul
Maybe victim maybe not
In rightful wars or genocides
My age is that of man
Sometimes too young to understand
Sometimes too old and tired to stand something more
I've always been wandering your lands
Since the day you learned how powerful you felt
With that stone in your hands.
9. My Blood
As sand through my finger
My blood has flown away.
The lymph that once fed my roots
Has dried
In every part the trunk that sustained
Me is now consumed.
Just a meaningless flowing into my veins
The monotonous pulse in mi ears brings me
To a reality I despise:
What once was is no more
Anger asks me why
But there's no answer that can bring relief
No gesture which doesn't remind me
No word that can ease this pain
Just the feeling of loss
The feeling of loss is something that lasts
And fills your soul with his emptiness
The perpetual companion of my sleepless nights
And idle days.
