 The Loveless - проект, созданный музыкантами (или бывшими музыкантами) группы, которая знакома поклонникам стиля death\doom metal. Я говорю о Saturnus. Если судить по обложке, то можно подумать, что нас ждёт нечто Katatonia-образное - и правда, некоторые общие черты есть, но их не так уж и много. На мой взгляд, гораздо больше у этой работы с альбомом «Aégis» группы Theatre of Tragedy. И хотя почти везде пишется, что проект играет готик-метал, аранжировки гораздо мягче, чем в метале. Неторопливость, некая размытость звука, мягкий мужской вокал, использование различных гитарных эффектов - всё это вы найдёте в этой работе. К сожалению, обладая только этими качествами, далеко не уплывёшь. Поэтому на альбоме присутствует и пара неплохих по мелодике трэков, например, «All the Same». По большей части альбом запоминается атмосферой уныния. Итог: неплохая работа, которую время от времени можно прослушать. |
