"On November 27th and 28th 1988, Iron Maiden filmed their two sold-out concerts
at Birmingham's N.E.C. which were part of their extensive worldwide tour,
"Seventh Tour Of A Seventh Tour". This video, Directed and Edited by Steve
Harris, gives a personal fans-eye view of Maiden at their bombastic best.
Featuring magnificent stage production and lighting which are a hallmark of
Maiden tours, the video gives a thrilling insight of one of the world's premier
rock bands live on stage."
In 1994 a limited edition pack of 'Maiden England' was released. This pack
featured a exclusive CD of the show. Only the songs with * were not included.
Today this item is very rare.
Note: There are some bootlegs of this CD circulating in a digipak format as an
official release, which they aren't.
Video is currently out of print.
A bootleg DVD by Room 101 Entertainment was released in 2003. |

С моей точки зрения - лучшее заловое видео Мэйденов. Дело не в том, что все здесь по высшему разряду -
свет, звук, исполнение. Этого хватает и на остальных видео группы. Но вот трек - лист..... Великолепная подборка композиций! Ломовейшие хиты соседствуют с композициями, ранее исполнявшимися очень редко, такими как Still Life, Prisoner, Die with Your Boots On. Записывался концерт в Бирмингеме, в присутствии 18000
очумелых фанатов, живо реагирующих на вокальные призывы Дикинсона. Просто великолепно исполнена Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, когда во время инструментального проигрыша по всей сцене мистически
загораются десятки факелов и на возвышении появляется фигура предсказателя с колдовским хрустальным шаром (см. артворк к альбому). Дикинсон исполнил все вещи просто великолепно, Харрис строчил на басу как из пулемета, Адриан Смит, объявивший об уходе из группы, напоследок решил устроить гитарную дуэль с Мюрреем. Ну и куда уж без обезбашенного дядьки - драммера МакБрэйна, который устроил на сцене землетрясение. Ведь были люди в наше время......
