Очень душевный дум-рок из Финляндии, который отличается от многочисленных аналогов в лучшую сторону. Чистый эмоциональный мужской вокал, плотный гитарный драйв, украшенный многочисленными клавишами, а местами и скрипкой с виолончелью, которых я раньше в этом стиле не встречал. Мелодии местами напоминают Sentenced, но есть и много своего. Особенно мне понравились Snow White Suicide, Closer (my love) и Thru the Darkness. Короче, продукт коммерческий, но слушать очень приятно, особенно на фоне всяких там him и to/die/for. |

Лав-метал. Финский. Entwine идут протоптанной H.I.M. дорогой, не отклоняясь от нее ни на шаг. В багаже группы имеется весь джентельменский набор для подобного рода музыки: незамысловатые, но хитовые песни, утяжеленная баллада "Closer" (по мотивам химовской "When love and death embrace"), тексты о неразделенной любви и стонущий, а-ля Вилле Вало, и вдобавок мяукающий вокалист. Вторично, но хитово и профессионально. Поклонникам стиля слушать обязательно. |

Этот альбом для меня больше, чем просто очередной альбом лав металл группы из Финляндии. С самого первого прослушивания он зацепил меня своей неподдельной грустью, мощью и удачными мелодиями. Каждая песня – марш печали, боли, любви и одиночеству. Голос вокалиста очень силен и подходит музыке Entwine. Мне кажется, его вокал звучит мощней и красивее, чем всеми известного Виле Вало, который кстати, на высоких нотах срывается на писк, нежели голос Мики Тауриайнена, который вытягивает все партии и поет более душевно и чувственно. Проще говоря, по сравнению с Хим и иже с ними, этот альбом просто-напросто намного тяжелее и Entwine стоят, как мне кажется, выше всех лав металлистов Финляндии. Вердикт 9 из 10, один балл минус за короткую длительность альбома, хотелось бы побольше таких мощных и красивых песен. |

Очень неплохой образчик поп-металла, столь модного ныне, из Суоми. Изделие с Spinefarm, и это сразу заметно. По сравненью с предыдущим творением ребятки весьма продвинулись - на мой субъективный взгляд, все трэки хороши. Правда, по-прежнему несколько портит картину вокал ниже среднестатистического (это вам не проникновенный голосок Вилле Вало) - где-то его назвали оригинальным и охарактеризовали, как "зевающий", но лично я бы остановился на определении "фиговый" :))
А так, в целом, не размениваясь на мелочи.. весьма достойно, цепляющие и не особо сложные клавишно-гитарные мелодии - что еще нужно для качественного коммерческого продукта??.. |
